We made the decision to withdraw our Better Business Bureau membership. For those familiar with our mother company, CyberMane, Inc., you are aware we’ve been a one-man operation (since July 5, 2000) simultaneously scoring A to A+ BBB score. You remember the changes, the growth and my desire to change the world in starting the non-profit, HelpMe2Stop.org.
Because of the global demand for my services, my principal responsibilities have changed from directly servicing individual customers to greater focus on teaching and training our process within salons. Because I am forgoing a salary (but reinvesting into the growth of the infant HM2S, it’s unnecessary to continue my Better Business Bureau membership.
A BBB rep did inform me that numerous inquires were made for CyberMane (just questions, no negative reports). Though she did attempt to sell me other BBB memberships, the rep finally understood the unfairness an unsalaried company officer (whose classes and consultations are at $0 charge) continuing to use the membership.
Being "unemployed" is challenging, but I feel at this time and I am willing to pay that price in my determination to change the world. It’s a financial sacrifice and one of many decisions I must make in my leadership role.
For those who sent in BBB inquiries, the best testimonials are the ones that include photos and testimonials in the website and my past BBB ratings.
